Treatment Lines Cleared of Heavy Encrustation
1st Mar 2007DPT successfully cleaned a length of heavily encrusted underground effluent line in one of the largest treatment plants in Europe. In some places the line was estimated ot be up to 80% blocked with extremely hard carbonated deposits. DPT’s revolutionary traction method was used to provide the firm basis for a specifically designed cutting head to clean the line and bring it back to full operational use. DPT succeeded in providing a solution where a variety of traditional methods had come up short. As a result we were able to provide savings of in excess of £50,000 for the client as they avoided the significant capital expenditure related to replacing the pipework.
