30th Jan 2008DPT’s FACT Pig (Flow Augmented Cleaning Tractor) is specifically designed to improve the effectiveness of conventional cleaning by up to 30 times.
For dirty pipelines with low product flow the tool will tractor and clean intensively to ensure “inspection ready preparation” in a single pass. For conventional pipelines the tool can be tuned to achieve “pigging” dynamics and achieve maximum cleaning effectiveness whilst minimising overall cleaning time.
The tool has excellent bypass flow to aid cleaning and maintain high production levels and is intrinsically designed to “tractor” in the presence of a build up of debris, in vertical risers or automatically reverse in the presence of an immovable obstruction.
For Unpiggable pipelines the tool can be launched / received from a single point and cleans with and against the flow.
Bristle Materials are available in a variety of materials to suit specific debris type and applications.
